Connect your HDTV with HDMI input to your computer (Mac or PC) easily with The Sewell HDdeck USB to HDMI display adapter. The HDdeck is like an external video card you connect to virtually any computer with an available USB port, adding an additional screen (in most cases an HDTV but many monitors these days also have HDMI inputs). This will allow you to expand your computer's desktop space to another monitor where you can watch videos, surf the web, play games, and more. It will not only handle video but also your computer's audio as well through the HDMI connection.

The secret to the USB conversion is the video compression algorithm inside this little external video card. It carries the top-of-the-line DisplayLink chip that guarantees smooth performance on your secondary displays just as if the display were connected to a true video port on your computer. The USB pipeline (maxing out at around 480 mbps) is more than enough bandwidth to provide top-notch video connectivity. Also with the recent display link driver updates it is able to support Hi-Def video and DirectX. This enables you to easily do just anything from photo editing to normal surfing the internet, watching movies, and play select games that support DirectX, such as Starcraft 2.

Installation is as easy as using the included CD to install the DisplayLink driver (downloading the latest driver is also avaiable from our site), and connecting the USB and video cables.

As an added convenience there is no need to route your computer's audio to your entertainment system's audio port, or to this unit. This unit handles the audio and video soley through the USB port, making your set-up a lot cleaner and easier.
