The Sewell Manta is used to convert any VGA source into 1080p HDMI with integrated audio. This allows you to convert the VGA output from your Laptop or PC to HDMI making your HD TV or monitor an extended display for your computer. Now you can enjoy all the content from your computer including movies, Netflix, YouTube, home videos/ pictures, presentations, and so much more in high definition 1080p on your big screen TV.

Unlike many VGA to HDMI converters the Manta also supports audio. The Manta will convert the analog L/R audio signal from your computer into digital audio. Simply connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the headphone jack on your computer to the audio input on the Manta. The audio is then coupled with the VGA signal and both are converted HDMI which will carry the audio and video to your TV.

Scaling to 720 or 1080p

This converter includes a scaling capability that will fit numerous VGA and Component Video resolutions to your HDMI TV. This ensures easy set-up.
